Today the Scratch Project completed the work on renovating, repairing and re-decorating the Summer House for the children at Fawley Infant School.
The children were so happy when we saw them today as you can see from their smiling faces.
Kirsty the chair of Fawley School PTA spoke at the re-opening of teh Summer House today said
"they were so happy for the children to have the Summer House open again and a huge thanks to the Scratch Project for agreeing to take this project on and completing it."
All materials used were funded by the Scratch Project and work hours donated by Scratch Project partners to do the repairs and
re-decorate.
Darren Currey and his team at Step By Step 07747772396 completed the repairs by donating their time.
Frank Carr and his daugher Lu from Accomplished Decorating 07541364858 completed the majority of the re-painting of the canopy and sides and floor with help from Jamie Barnes JB Private Hire 07849 060626 and Michael Osman at Oyster Financial Planning 023 80848410.
David from Holbury Hardware 02380 891208 also donated some of the paint used, a big thanks to you David for your generosity!
The whole point of the Scratch Project is for local businesses to provide great service for the local community, the local people to Scratch the backs of local trusted small businesses by using their services and our partners will in turn Scratch the backs of local good causes by group funding them.
